Wonderful news to know where at least two molys are. Can we have an update and see where they all are please. I haven't had one from this group for ages.

Sandra and Sharon's molies are here!

Hi everyone! I'm just updating to say I am safely holding Sharon and Sandra's molies in my hands and they are stunning. Benjamin, I also loved the card and the envelope. Frieda is a favorite of mine, too!

This has been a busy week for molies. I just got Tim's moly for the moly_73 collage exchange as well. We're re-booting the group into a two person exchange since the other members dropped out or never started, so keep an eye on us and cheer us on!

I'm getting ready to move again (just upgrading to a two bedroom on the same complex) so I'll have a new mailing address for Benjamin within the next month again. I hope everybody's summers are winding down to a nice conclusion. Portland is really warm right now, which coastal girls like myself are not used to.

I'm happy to see the group moving again. I'll be starting in these books ASAP!

They arrived last week and am preparing to start producing.
Soon I will send everyone s book to Benjamin in Mexico.

Call for Entries

I am thrilled that moly_x will be exhibiting at Minnesota Center of Book Arts (MCBA), between mid-January through March 2011. It's coming up! This is a great venue, and this exhibit could mean some wonderful opportunities for other exhibitions around the country, and possible grants. This is a very receptive community.

I would like a few of the great portrait books from this group. These books do not have to be completed. If you have a book right now would you consider sending it to me next. It will be out of circulation through March, but it will get some wonderful attention. I will guarantee it's safe return, or delivery to the next artist on the list.

MCBA does a great job of documenting their shows, so you will have a nice record. Whoever is in the book may add another credit to her/his resumé. We will continue to look for other similar venues for moly_x exhibitions. There are many book art institutions like this around the country, and there are many university book arts, and illustration programs.

I have dreamed of this exhibit since we started this little project. I would like to get 2 or 3 portrait books from this group.

I have no news from her. She still has my book, now for close on one year. I do not plan to continue in the group unless she releases my book so that it can be a part of the exchange again.

I am sorry that it is coming to this, but it is simply ridiculous for me to take part in an exchange where my own book has been kept back by one exchange member for almost a year, and this person does not communicate and will not release my book. I cannot be a party to this situation anymore.

...is off to Russia as of yesterday! So Anastasiya, keep an eye out for it in the next few days! So as of now, I am moly-less and waiting until Benjamin can send me the next two.

How is everybody's summer going? Beginning to wind down? Portland is beautiful right now, lots of sunshine, which I should enjoy now because nine months out of the year is constant rain.

I love you guys! Let's keep going, we can do this! Some of us are so close to being done I'd hate to see the group fall apart.
