Checking in

Hello group - sorry for being so inactive on the comment front, I'm going through a rough patch, but have been lurking a bit and following the great work being done all around the globe. I haven't seen a book myself since Calvin's moly came my way in June (!!!), but according to Sudjino the next one will soon be on its way to my post box, and I'm looking forward to finally getting my hands on one of your books again.

While waiting for the next exchange book I have been experimenting with watercolour, keeping a holiday journal over the summer, and doing more café and home sketching as well. Here's one of the entries from my watercolour journal, while I wait for the next portrait exchange book:

Thank you to those who have already worked in my book, you've done great work - I can see that the whole thing is going to end up a wonderful frieze of fun and life by the time it returns to my hands!

Mario's entry in Alicia's book is finito!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guy!!! Sorry for delay.
I just finished Alicia's Moly. I love the the works in that one so far Done by Alicia herself and Tania!!!!!
I am so glad to be part of this group. I had the idea of getting electrical charges from hair,(static electricity), and wanted to incorporate some of that into the portrait along with the guitar playing. Ended up with more of a vortex, slash electrical lines, turning into a globulous night. I am going to go work on the other lovely moleskines that I have in my collection.

Juanita's moly

Juanita's moly came in the mail on Thursday and is safe and sound! I was having quite a rough day and my sister brought this down to me at work as a surprise just in time to dry up my tears. I was very happy to have it.
I'm very excited to get to see it up close. It's full of such beautiful art! Also, thank you Benjamin for the beautiful gift. I loved the note and showed off the envelope to everyone at work. :] You are a sweetheart! I already know what I want to do for Juanita's moly and am getting started on it tonight.

I hope everybody is having a wonderful September! Fall is in the air.
